Marketing & Business Development Representative

We are seeking a motivated Marketing & Business Development Representative to join our team. This hybrid role combines marketing support and business development responsibilities , offering an excellent opportunity for a junior-level professional with strong interest in marketing, sales, and business growth.

You’ll help generate, nurture, and qualify leads through marketing initiatives and outbound efforts, while also supporting campaigns, content, and events that fuel our sales pipeline. This is a growth-oriented role where you’ll gain hands-on experience across both marketing and business development functions.

What you can expect from the role:

  • Support marketing initiatives including digital campaigns, social media activity, website content updates, and event/webinar coordination.
  • Engage inbound leads through email, phone, and online meetings, qualifying them for readiness to enter the sales process.
  • Nurture prospects by providing information, answering questions, and maintaining regular follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to smoothly transition qualified opportunities for deeper engagement.
  • Assist with lead generation campaigns — tracking results, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.
  • Help create marketing materials such as case studies, success stories, and promotional content.
  • Manage CRM data by logging activities, updating opportunities, and tracking campaign performance.
  • Support reporting and analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and sales pipeline contribution.
  • Contribute new ideas to improve marketing and business development processes.

Key Goals & KPIs for This Role

  • Lead Qualification: Consistently convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities.
  • Prospect Engagement: Maintain regular outreach activity across email, calls, and LinkedIn.
  • Sales Meetings Set: Book qualified discovery meetings for the sales team.
  • CRM Accuracy: Ensure all prospect interactions and updates are accurately maintained in CRM.
  • Marketing Campaign Support: Contribute to execution and follow-up of marketing campaigns with measurable engagement.
  • Content & Brand Support: Help produce new marketing assets such as social posts, case studies, or success stories.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrate effective teamwork with sales and marketing leadership on handoffs and campaign support.

What we will look for in your resume:

  • Interest in marketing and business development with a desire to grow into a hybrid role.
  • Strong communication skills — clear, professional writing and confident verbal communication. Also being socially conscious, understanding the collective mood; feelings of the people in a particular social situation, then adapting your communication accordingly
  • Ability to engage prospects and build rapport through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills to manage both marketing projects and sales follow-up.
  • Detail Oriented paying close attention to the small elements of any task or project, ensuring accuracy, precision, and thoroughness to produce high-quality work.
  • Comfort with technology (CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace).
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail in content and messaging.
  • Self-starter attitude — proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred, not required).
  • Experience in sales development, inside sales, or marketing support is a plus but not required.
