CNC Assistant

Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

This role involves locking and clamping parts to assist the CNC Machinist. The job is repetitive, requiring a strong attention to detail. The parts are made of copper, and scrapped parts can be costly. You will also use hand tools such as micrometers and calipers to inspect parts.

Responsibilities

• Lock and clamp parts for CNC machining.
• Assist CNC Machinist with operations.
• Use hand tools like micrometers and calipers for part inspection.
• Ensure quality by maintaining tolerances around +/- .001 (1 thou).
• Assist in quality inspections and handle general labor tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
• Experience in machine operation and machining.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Skill in handling hand tools and tape measures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day performing repetitive tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
