Customer Service Representative

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a high-performing team supporting a top-tier client. This role is critical in delivering exceptional service and handling a wide range of customer needs. You will be the go-to resource for drivers, fleet managers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via email and phone.
• Assist with vehicle ordering and other customer service-related tasks.
• Handle complex situations (e.g., impounded vehicles) with problem-solving and empathy.
• Manage a high volume of emails and cases; ensure accurate documentation in internal systems.
• Make outbound calls for follow-ups and gather missing information.
• Utilize internal systems (CARE) for issue tracking and resolution.
• Perform data entry in real time while multitasking across multiple screens.
• Use Excel functions (including VLOOKUP) for data sorting and reporting.
• Support processes such as billing changes, insurance card distribution, and driver data updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of office-based customer service experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor for video meetings (via Teams)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel – including basic pivot tables)
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM
• Experience with Salesforce preferred
• High school diploma required

Additional Information

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • 1-hour unpaid lunch
  • Two 15-minute breaks
• Environment: Business casual, brand-new office with amenities (ping pong tables, golf simulator, gym membership with classes and sauna)

This is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Schaumburg,IL.
