Customer Service Representative
About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a high-performing team supporting a top-tier client. This role is critical in delivering exceptional service and handling a wide range of customer needs. You will be the go-to resource for drivers, fleet managers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via email and phone.
- Assist with vehicle ordering and other customer service-related tasks.
- Handle complex situations (e.g., impounded vehicles) with problem-solving and empathy.
- Manage a high volume of emails and cases; ensure accurate documentation in internal systems.
- Make outbound calls for follow-ups and gather missing information.
- Utilize internal systems (CARE) for issue tracking and resolution.
- Perform data entry in real time while multitasking across multiple screens.
- Use Excel functions (including VLOOKUP) for data sorting and reporting.
- Support processes such as billing changes, insurance card distribution, and driver data updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of office-based customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor for video meetings (via Teams)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel – including basic pivot tables)
- Ability to type at least 40 WPM
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- High school diploma required
Additional Information
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Two 15-minute breaks
- Environment: Business casual, brand-new office with amenities (ping pong tables, golf simulator, gym membership with classes and sauna)

This is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
