Utility locator/Damage prevention analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to and coordinate the investigation of major incidents (explosions, fires, and electrocutions) including significant company damage events.
- Meet with customers/claimants, witnesses, etc. to obtain facts of incidents.
- Evaluate damages and make a liability determination.
- Understanding the law, deductive reasoning and a commonsense approach to construction and locating activities are needed when making an at fault determination.
- Facilitate open communication between client, locate contractors and excavators to minimize damage to client facilities.
- Document investigations in a manner, which will assist claims in collecting on the cost to repair client facilities. Act as Company Representative in depositions and litigations. Provide educational services to internal and external constituencies.

Education/Experience:
- High school required.
