Job Summary

Works under general supervision, performing a variety of tasks while relying on limited experience and judgment to accomplish goals.

Job Description

• Work with row crops (canola, corn, cotton, and soybeans) in greenhouse and growth chamber settings
• Perform sowing, plant care, discarding, cleaning, transplanting, harvesting, and seed processing
• Stand for long periods of time
• Work in elevated greenhouse temperatures during warmer months
• Participate in rotational weekend work as required

Skills Required

• Detail-oriented due to the nature of the work
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Demonstrates creativity and latitude in completing tasks
• Experience in controlled environments and growing plants preferred
• Commercial greenhouse experience qualifies

Education/Training/Certifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, biology, horticulture, or other life sciences

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background checks
• Shift Start Time : 07:30 AM

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $27.21 to $35.21 per hour . Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
