Remote Sales Rep - Medical Malpractice Insurance (FT)
Our Chicago based medical malpractice insurance agency provides services and support nationally. They are looking for a remote Sales Rep to engage, quote and close warm leads.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent phone based communication and sales skills, with experience in the professional liability insurance sales space.
Core Responsibilities:
- Sales and Client Consultation : Engage with inbound and outbound leads, assess client needs, and recommend suitable insurance products and coverage options using a consultative, needs-based approach.
- Lead Management : Proactively contact potential clients through provided leads, networking, or referrals to drive sales growth
- Policy Processing : Prepare quotes, complete applications, process forms, and manage all necessary documentation for new policies and policy changes.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction, identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional coverage.
- Goal Achievement : Meet or exceed established sales targets, performance metrics, and activity goals (e.g., contact rates, conversion rates).
- Compliance and Knowledge : Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulatory requirements (e.g., state licensing rules) to ensure all recommendations and interactions are fully compliant.
- CRM Utilization : Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., HubSpot) and other cloud-based communication tools to track all touchpoints, manage pipelines, and document client history.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Licensing : A valid state Property & Casualty license.
- Experience : Previous professional liability insurance sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and handle objections effectively.
- Technical Proficiency : Comfort with CRM systems, phone-based sales platforms, email, and virtual meeting tools.
- Soft Skills : Strong self-motivation, organization, time management, high ethical standards, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.
Compensation: 75k based, 10% sales commission, PTO, Benefits, 401k match
