Where: Libertyville, IL | Hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Pay: $24.00–$30.00/hr

Precision builds trust. In this role, you’ll be the point person ensuring parts meet exacting specifications through expert use of metrology tools and CMMs.

Impact you’ll make (bullet-focused)

• Execute precise inspections with calipers, micrometers, height/bore gauges, and optical comparators
• Work independently to complete inspection tasks with minimal oversight
• Apply and interpret GD&T across prints and measurement plans
• Operate CMMs; read and interpret results; perform minor program edits
• Lead AS9102 FAIs and produce thorough, compliant documentation
• Log and process nonconforming product per company procedures
• Aggregate quality data and communicate concise reports to management
• Champion safety and a culture of quality excellence
• Take on additional assignments as needed

Your background

• 5+ years in quality or related field
• Deep knowledge of metrology and dimensional inspection methods
• Proven experience with GD&T and precision inspection tools
• Working familiarity with AS9102 FAI standards
• Nice to have: CMM programming/editing
• Preferred industries: aerospace, defense, or manufacturing

Pay transparency

The starting hourly range for this position is $24.00–$30.00. Final compensation reflects the role’s scope, your experience, education/training, job skills, internal equity, and market/business factors. If approved to work outside the listed location, geographic pay adjustments may apply.
