School Social Worker - $50/hr - Burbank, IL - In-Person - 15 Weeks

Position Overview:

We are seeking a School Social Worker (SSW) to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide input in the development of IHP/IEPs for students requiring social work intervention and support in a school setting. This role involves working with students across elementary to high school levels, including those with cognitive and intellectual disabilities, and providing classroom support as part of a team of SSWs.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Burbank, IL

• Start Date: January 26, 2026 (ASAP/Flexible Start)

• End Date: End of 2025-2026 school year

• Schedule: Monday-Friday

• Hours: 32.5 per week (8:15 AM-3:15 PM, unpaid 30-min break)

• Duration: 15 weeks

• Pay Rate: $50/hour

• Modality: In-person only

• Interview: In-person (before 8 AM or after 4 PM if candidate is currently working)

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services and interventions for students

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IHP/IEP development

• Support students with cognitive and intellectual disabilities

• Offer classroom support and consultation with staff

Requirements:

• Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement

• MSW or LCSW may be required per state or contract

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
