Job Summary

W e are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Field Technician to perform onsite installation, maintenance, and repair of chemical injection pumps and related equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in field environments with frequent travel.

Job Description

• Perform onsite installation, setup, troubleshooting, and repair of chemical injection pumps and tanks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing following established company guidelines.
  
• Execute moderately complex repairs and maintenance on pumps and related accessories.
  
• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  
• Inspect materials, components, and subassemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  
• Read and interpret work instructions, work orders, production drawings, and verbal directions.
  
• Accurately complete and submit service documentation, including service tickets and reports.
  
• Provide basic technical support and respond to customer inquiries regarding products and applications.
  
• Coordinate with sales representatives for advanced service or sales-related requests.
  
• Manage inventory awareness and provide updates on in-stock item availability.
  
• Perform deliveries to customer locations and obtain required delivery confirmations.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in alignment with safety standards.
  
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while working in field and customer site environments.
  
• Travel to customer sites as required (up to 90%).
• Work site is WV, candidate will be supporting clients in the Fairmont, West Virginia area.

Skills Required

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment effectively.
  
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic industrial equipment.
  
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a field-based role.
  
• Comfortable working in physically demanding and safety-sensitive environments.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $22 - $30 per h our (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)

Additional Requirements

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; weekends and overtime as needed
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical assessment
  
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and training standards
  
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
  
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer sites (up to 90%)
  
• Role is safety-sensitive and may be subject to ongoing testing
  
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and prolonged standing
  
• May be required to meet specific customer site requirements, including vaccinations
