In this vital role, you will be responsible for setting up jobs, selecting tooling, and operating multi-axis CNC mills while ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and personal safety. Attention to detail is paramount as you create and edit NC programs, set machine zero-point references, and compensate tooling offsets. You will interpret blueprints with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and utilize common hand gauges to verify adherence to specifications.
