Territory: Chicagoland, SE Wisconsin, and NW Indiana. We cover many sites across the region, including (but not limited to): Waukegan, Schaumburg, Melrose Park, Crystal Lake, Elgin, Rockford, Northbrook, Oak Brook, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Joliet, Orland Park, Olympia Fields, Frankfort . To help place you close to home, you may be asked for your home address.

A day in the life during a snow event

Dispatch calls. You head to your assigned site and follow instructions from dispatch or your field foreman to clear parking lots quickly and safely. You monitor fuel at the start and end of the event and, if a fuel cell is onsite, you top off the machine and record everything on the daily fuel log. Between passes, you keep the cab tidy—no garbage, no debris—so you can stay focused and efficient. If anything happens, from a near miss to an actual incident, you immediately contact your foreman. You finish the event by confirming the equipment is operating safely, reporting any maintenance concerns, and ensuring the cab is clean for the next call-out.

What you'll handle

• Plow parking lots per dispatch/foreman direction.
• Apply salt or shovel as needed or directed.
• Track and report fuel at the beginning and end of each event; refuel from onsite fuel cells and complete daily fuel logs when applicable.
• Keep equipment cabs clean and free of debris at all times.
• Immediately report any incidents/accidents to your foreman.
• Confirm equipment is safe and operational; report maintenance issues without delay.

What you bring

• At least 2 years of commercial snow removal or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.; willing to shovel snow and salt walks in addition to plowing as needed.
• Legal, clean driving record; CDL if applicable.
• Willingness to complete a National Safety Council defensive driving course if required.
• Proficiency in Skid Steer Operation .
