ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs Job Duties:
prepping and cooking food items to order while prepping out sauces, baked items, and other misc recipes during slow periods. Doing what the kitchen needs require including dishes, cleaning, prepping, cooking, plating. Since this is a tipped position you will also need to assist the front of house with items as needed. Ability to work independently and meet production needs throughout the shift. This is a small no-hood cafe kitchen with a limited menu that is made in house from scratch. Ability to navigate a non-traditional line using electric equipment is essential. This is a great position for people who like to work independently. We are located at 3458 W Lake St, steps from the Conservatory Green Line stop. If interested please include a resume that shows relevant experience.
