We are now looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our team in Nefab Northeast - Chicago.

As the Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for leading and executing sourcing activities within a defined sub-region. This role ensures alignment with regional, category, and local strategies while focusing on cost optimization, supplier performance, and compliance. The Sourcing Manager also drives local strategic initiatives and plays a key role in supporting both operational excellence and long-term business goals.

You will be part of a growing global organization with a collaborative and family -oriented culture. In the Sourcing role, you will… Create and execute strong local sourcing strategies aligned with regional and category-level objectives.

Analyze procurement spending and identify cost-reduction opportunities.

Evaluate supplier risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Provide monthly Sourcing updates during Sub-regional organizational calls.

This position is located in Hanover Park Ill, and you will report to the Regional Directing Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

Execute on sub-regional sourcing plans and savings initiatives.

Issue and manage RFQs daily

Conduct benchmark analysis to compare pricing and quantities across suppliers.

Support make-vs-buy decisions by evaluating internal capabilities vs. outsourcing.

Request and review inbound transportation quotes, including freight forwarding and customs.

Obtain raw material pricing and evaluate total cost impact.

Address supplier quality issues and provide support to internal stakeholders.

Manage lead times, address urgencies, and ensure continuity of supply.

Oversee supplier performance and maintain strong working relationships.

Monitor and control procurement costs and drive cost optimization.

Ensure risk and compliance requirements are embedded in all sourcing activities.

Support local reporting

Minimum Experience And Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar
• Must have min 3 years’ experience in a management position
• Must have min 4 years’ experience in Sourcing
• Understands market data, forecasting methods and can analyze market trends
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop a network within the industry
• Abilities to develop and work on long term strategies while solving daily issues
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Moderate skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
