Job Details – Illinois CNA Travel Assignment

• Location: Harvey, IL 60426 (Chicago area healthcare job)
• Facility Setting: Hospital – Acute Care Med Surg Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 – End: 12/08/2025)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:10
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required to other hospital units as needed
• Local Candidates: Accepted for Illinois CNA jobs
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $670-$690

Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care CNA experience in a hospital setting (within the last 3 years)
• Active Illinois CNA license required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with electronic charting systems
• Ability to work every other weekend and float to other units as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Two professional references (one from a direct supervisor or manager)
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off during contract

CNA Job Responsibilities – Acute Care Med Surg

• Assist patients with activities of daily living: ambulation, feeding, turning, repositioning, and hygiene care
• Perform bed baths, change linens, and provide skin and decubitus care prevention
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature)
• Assist with safe patient transfers and promptly report changes in patient condition
• Support oxygen tank management and pulse oximetry monitoring
• Follow isolation precautions and ensure proper use of PPE
• Conduct glucose point of care testing
• Float to other hospital units as required to meet patient care needs
