The Field Superintendent is tasked with ensuring the timely and safe completion of construction projects in accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes. This role involves scheduling and overseeing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that project timelines are met.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project completion within the designated timeline.

• Ensure construction is carried out safely, adhering to plans, specifications, and local codes.

• Schedule and manage subcontractors and suppliers to maintain on-time project delivery.

• Monitor and enforce job site safety, quality, and schedule.

• Act as the onsite representative and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction supervision and commercial construction.

• Proficiency in subcontractor management and vendor management.

• Strong skills in labor management and schedule management.

• Certification in OSHA 30.

• Ability to oversee construction projects onsite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge in safety, quality, and schedule management.

• Skills in cost control and relationship leadership.

• Business management acumen.

Work Environment

The work environment is on-site where construction projects are actively being carried out. This role requires presence at the construction site to oversee and manage various aspects of the project.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fairview Heights, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
