About The Role

This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across global operations, while driving process improvements and leveraging our systems to scale our AP processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global accounts payable team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the end-to-end AP function, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor management, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Oversee the optimization of Coupa to drive automation, financial accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and global statutory regulations.
  • Partner closely with Procurement, Accounting, Finance, and Treasury teams to streamline procure-to-pay processes.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs (e.g., days payable outstanding, processing accuracy, vendor satisfaction) and implement improvements to achieve best-in-class performance.
  • Oversee global payment strategies, including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and cross-border payments.
  • Drive process standardization and scalability to support the company’s rapid global growth.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, auditors, and third-party partners.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership, including cash flow forecasting and spend analysis.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, innovative, and occasionally chaotic environment, adapting quickly to change and ambiguity.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate clearly at all levels in a rapidly scaling business.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable or procure-to-pay, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Experience with Coupa, Netsuite, and Ramp applications is highly desired.
  • Proven experience in a global, high-growth, technology-driven environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with Coupa P2P platform and demonstrated success in system optimization.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and international AP requirements.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive amid change, influence stakeholders, and move fast to achieve business goals.
  • Curious, proactive, and resilient personality—ready to “Act Like an Owner” and “Achieve More Together,” reflecting the company’s core values.
  • Eligible to work in the US for any US employer without the need for work visa sponsorship now or in the future

We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we’ve found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we’d love to talk.

  • You love to drive process automation, mentor global teams, and implement systemic improvements to achieve best-in-class financial performance
  • You’re curious about new technologies and scalable process designs that can transform a scaling, high-growth environment into an efficient, SOX-compliant global operation.
  • You’re an expert in end-to-end Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) optimization, US GAAP, SOX controls, and leveraging systems like Coupa and NetSuite to manage global financial compliance and reporting.
