Pricing Quant - American Options
Company Description:
We are partnered with a global proprietary trading powerhouse, renowned for its expertise in options trading and cutting-edge technology, as they seek a Pricing Quant to join a specialized team focused on the pricing and modeling of equity options - both index and single-name.
Role Description:
As a Pricing Quant on this team, you will develop and enhance pricing libraries using both theoretical and empirical models, research and implement methodologies to model implied volatility surfaces, and collaborate closely with traders and fellow researchers to turn model insights into actionable trading strategies.
You’ll also gain exposure to a broad range of asset classes and trading horizons, offering a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering).
- Strong understanding of American options pricing theory and application.
- A practical understanding and exposure to trading.
- Strong programming (Python, Java or C++ preferred). Familiarity with volatility trading strategies or structured products is a plus.
