Controller

- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial statements
- Maintain accurate inventory valuation and lead standard cost development and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for operational performance
- Partner with operations and plant management to support cost control and margin improvement
- Lead audits and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and accountability
- Support capital expenditure analysis and business case development for equipment or facility investments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or similar leadership role
- Experience in the packaging, manufacturing, or industrial goods industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
