Senior Business Analyst

Description

Core Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross functional teams to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements and user stories

- Translate high level product goals into detailed business and functional requirements in JIRA

- Partner with Engineering and Design teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and proper implementation

- Support the development and refinement of user epics and stories for agile workflows

- Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas of improvement or automation

- Support user research, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis to inform product decisions

- Support the measurement and reporting of product performance using quantitative and qualitative data

- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation including process flows, data models, use cases, and test scenarios

- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity

- Provide support during user acceptance testing, validating features against requirements

Required Experience

- 5 or more years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role within a digital or enterprise environment

- Demonstrated experience working with agile development teams and processes

- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft tools

Preferred Experience

-Experience in digital web applications or enterprise software, ideally within hospitality or B2B environments

- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS solutions, integrations, APIs, and Figma

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
