Assistant Hospital Manager
- Assist the Hospital Manager in leading veterinary, technical, client service, and administrative teams across Specialty, ER, and General Practice departments, as directed.
- Support department supervisors with workflow coordination, communication, and operational consistency.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development of hospital team members.
- Help maintain smooth day-to-day hospital operations and proactively address operational challenges.
- Serve as a resource to team members by reinforcing hospital standards, expectations, and culture.
- Support client service initiatives and programs, including CareClub operations, member communication, issue resolution, and compliance.
- Monitor client service trends and collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements that enhance the overall client experience.
- Partner with Medical Director and department leaders to ensure alignment between medical operations, specialty services, and client-facing functions.
- Assist with hospital financial operations, including accounts receivable, chargebacks, daily deposits, and cash reconciliation.
- Process and oversee Care Credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor discounts for appropriate use and documentation.
- Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing routine reports to support revenue goals and operational decision-making.
- Oversee housekeeping services, including scheduling, task execution, and quality control.
- Ensure the hospital environment remains clean, organized, safe, and welcoming for clients, patients, and team members.
- Support facility-related needs and coordinate with vendors as directed by the Hospital Manager.
- Assist in implementing hospital policies, procedures, and operational standards across all departments.
- Maintain internal documentation, logs, and compliance records.
- Support inventory management and supply initiatives as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and company compliance requirements.
- Experience in veterinary, medical, or service-based management preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, multi-department environment.
- Familiarity with financial processes and management systems.
