Software engineer
Job Description
Apply principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems
Modify existing databases and database management systems
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions; specify identifiers for management systems
Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations
Review project requests, estimate time and cost, and provide feedback
Troubleshoot issues and implement system changes as needed
Support and mentor junior team members as required
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members

Skills and Requirements
3-5 years of experience as a software engineerBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field
Kubernetes experience
Experience with cloud deployments specifically Azure
API Development
Expertise in Quality engineering skills and methodologies and conducting their own testing
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: business/systems analysis, requirements gathering, functional specification, development, testing, and delivery
Experience modifying existing databases and database management systems
Proficiency in writing and coding logical and physical database descriptions
Experience with SQL, Visual Basic, or similar development tools Experience working as part of a project team to coordinate database development
Experience estimating time and cost for project requests
Experience with operating systems-level software, compilers, or network distribution software
Experience in medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, or general computing applications
