Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity offers a rewarding role as a Social Worker supporting K-12 students within a dynamic school environment. The position is based in Aurora, IL, and is designed to provide prehensive social work services throughout the school year under a contract arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and support to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized plans to support student well-being and academic success.
• Conduct assessments and develop interventions to address student needs, including crisis intervention and referral to munity resources.
• Facilitate group sessions and develop preventative programs focused on social skills, substance abuse prevention, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in pliance with district policies and confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Valid licensure or certification as a social worker in the state of Illinois.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
