Production Machine Tender

We are hiring Production Technicians for a food manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems, and maintaining high standards for safety and quality.

Pay: $18–$20/hour DOE

**Location: **Loves Park, IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
• Inspect products for weight, seals, codes, metal detection, and overall quality.
• Make basic equipment adjustments and troubleshoot issues.
• Report equipment problems to maintenance or management.
• Complete production records and computer data entry.
• Remove scrap and keep the production area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and quality procedures.
• Wear required PPE and follow proper sanitation practices.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Regular bending, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavy carts up to 350 lbs.
• Ability to work around dust and wear required protective equipment.
