Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain embedded C++ software from requirements through deployment and support.
• Create and execute unit tests and support Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing to ensure robust releases.
• Work closely with hardware, test and systems teams to integrate firmware with automation and robotics platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues using schematics, data sheets and debugging tools; drive defect resolution to closure.
• Contribute to documentation, code reviews and adherence to SDLC best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience designing and implementing embedded software solutions.
• Strong proficiency in C++ for embedded systems (mandatory).
• Experience with automation & robotics, unit testing and SIL testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with CANalyzer/Canape and Ethernet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Solid understanding of SDLC basics, troubleshooting practices, schematics and reading data sheets.
