Senior Executive Assistant to CEO
Lasalle Network is hiring a Senior Executive Assistant to serve as the operational right hand to the CEO of a high-growth, founder-led company. This is a strategic partnership focused on leverage, systems, and sustained excellence!
The right candidate brings sound judgment, strong execution discipline, and an instinct for protecting time, energy, and focus. You’re not just responding to tasks—you’re anticipating needs, eliminating friction, and bringing calm, clarity, and order to a fast-paced, visionary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the CEO’s primary operational partner, managing all logistics, scheduling, and communication flow
- Steward the executive calendar—not just booking time, but proactively protecting focus, energy, and recovery
- Anticipate downstream impacts, identify conflicts early, and recommend tradeoffs
- Translate vision into actionable plans, timelines, and systems with clear accountability
- Manage personal and household logistics (as needed), including travel, appointments, and vendor coordination
- Leverage tools like Basecamp (or similar) for project tracking, visibility, and follow-through
- Support cross-functional team coordination and overflow scheduling when needed
- Actively manage time as a strategic asset
- 10+ years supporting senior executives, founders, or CEOs in complex, fast-moving environments
- Proven success protecting leadership time and anticipating needs across work and life
- Confident communicator—comfortable pushing back with clarity and professionalism when needed
- System thinker—able to track moving parts and close loops without hand-holding
- Comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to change, and calm under pressure
- Experience in a founder-led, high-growth, or startup environment is a plus
- Chicago-based with ability to attend in-person meetings occasionally
