The impact you will have:
As our Microsoft Sales Manager, you'll lead a team of Microsoft pre-sales specialists to position Softchoice's value proposition, win new business, grow our services footprint, and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You'll be responsible for driving our sales strategy, go-to-market campaigns, and promotional efforts to ensure we're maximizing every opportunity within our current and expanding customer base. This role also involves building stronger alignment with Microsoft leadership to increase brand visibility and accelerate co-sell opportunities. You'll represent our Enterprise organization in both internal and external engagements, acting as a key voice for our Microsoft business.
What you'll do:

Driving Softchoice sales of Microsoft software and services within the business area

Working with the Softchoice Field Sales Management team on joint go-to-market strategies to drive deployment of Microsoft solutions in our customer base as well as Managed Services and Professional Services revenue growth.

Partnering with Sales leadership at every level to develop marketing and field plans.

Recruiting, developing, and managing an existing team of Microsoft Sales Specialists.

Creating/building relationships with Microsoft and key Microsoft partners, especially at the national and regional level.

Creating/proposing marketing plans, initiatives, and campaigns.

Providing Microsoft escalation support for Softchoice sales organizations.

Planning/conducting executive and sales presentations to customers, the Microsoft community, and to the Softchoice sales organization.

Qualifications
-
Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years sales experience.

Minimum 3 years of people management experience.

Work experience in the IT industry (Microsoft knowledge is required).

Solid understanding of the commercial IT market for software, hardware, and services.

Ability to travel.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Experience managing executive-level relationships.

Creative and strategic thinker with strong presentation skills.

Strong analytical skills.
-
Self-managed and motivated individual with strong leadership skills.

Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma, preferred.
Pay Range for Chicago:
The typical pay range for this role is $99,520 - $124,400.
Note: the pay range represents the full pay range for this position. Each individual offer will take into consideration a range of factors, including prior experience and geographic location.
In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for additional elements of compensation including (cell allowances, annual bonus, or commissions etc.), as well as a comprehensive benefits plan.
