Construction Technician
We are looking for hard working individuals who are interested in finding their next long-term career move. If you have experience in construction, concrete, geotechnical, geology or engineering this could be a great foot in the door opportunity. This position is also ideal for those who have experience in asphalt, utilities, landscaping, or general labor. Whether you are fresh out of high school, changing careers or looking for a better path, this is your opportunity to gain experience learn and grow.
What You Will Do
- Learn to perform testing on materials like soil concrete asphalt and aggregates
- Assist with field and lab testing at active construction sites
- Collect and prepare materials for testing
- Use tools and equipment safely with proper training
- Ensure materials meet quality and safety standards
- Record and report results with attention to detail
- Work outdoors and in a team environment with experienced professionals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
- Interest in construction, civil engineering, or hands on work
