Immediate Hirring For Warehouse Worker - 2nd Shift Forklift Operator

Job Description

Join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment where you will play a crucial role in managing container and racking systems. This position involves working in both the East Moline and Davenport locations, handling a mixture of racks and totes. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of incoming containers and racks, preparing them for further use.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate shipment of containers.
• Work in process lanes to remove manufacturer tags and use a hand-scanner for incoming totes and racks.
• Manage the washing machine operations by loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning totes.
• Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers.
• Stand for the entirety of the shift, with breaks provided.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift, including the ability to pass a forklift test.
• Experience with inventory management and RF scanning.

Work Environment

This role requires standing for long periods and involves significant physical activity. The work environment is fast-paced, and employees are expected to handle equipment such as forklifts and hand-scanners. Breaks are provided, and the dress code is casual, reflecting the active nature of the work.

This is a Contract position based out of East Moline, IL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
