Senior Accountant

This Senior Accountant will be reporting directly to the Controller and will work alongside a highly motivated and independent accounting team. As a Senior Accountant , you will be able to participate in process improvement projects and have the chance to grow in your career.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly property financial statements for advertising campaigns

• Involved in the month-end close process, including preparation of some journal entries/accruals necessary to complete monthly financials

• Prepare quarterly asset reports and distribute amongst ownership

• Review project budgets and forecast for future revenue

• Booking accruals

• Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards

• Supervise the Accounts Payables weekly check runs

• Review and approve accounts payable invoices for coding accuracy

• Structure new vendor onboarding and establish new accounting processes

Senior Accountant Requirements:

• At least 4 years of general ledger accounting experience required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics highly preferred

• 4 years of experience with a large ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Great Plains

• Ability to run the month end close process independently

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information applying advanced accounting principles and your strong understanding of GAAP

• Knowledge of general ledger chart of accounts and expense coding
