Overview: The Insulation Technician is an individual contributor position familiar with the craft discipline and is recognized for possessing a mechanical aptitude and safe work ethic within our CB&I Storage Solutions Insulation Group. The role is responsible for maintaining industrial/construction equipment, as well as set up and operation of machinery in the field used to insulate various CB&I Storage Tanks both domestically and internationally while observing and complying with all CB&I safety procedures. Willingness to learn and work independently with minimal supervision. The role reports to the Insulation Manager. Responsibilities:

• Basic equipment maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical aptitude - experience working on a variety of motors, pumps or compressors
• Polyurethane foam and or paint spraying.
• Equipment shipments, set-up, operation and breakdown on site.
• Installation of Proprietary Insulation Systems on Storage Tanks.
• Follow and promote safety first work ethic
• Coordinate with other roles and functions on project teams HSES, Construction Managers, Clients.
• Forecast how long it will take to do a task - commit to definitive deadlines.
• Generate improvement ideas for tools and workflow associated to the role.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card
• Ability to travel 50%

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant working experience construction, mechanical or insulation type role or technical school.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer knowledge - Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Field crew experience- supervisory a plus
• Excellent time management

Pay Range USD $59,769.00 - 71,722.00 Annually
