Crysalis Biosciences, Inc. is seeking to hire multiple motivated Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In these roles, you will help ensure operational excellence by performing a variety of maintenance duties and responding to service requests. Our maintenance technicians work to ensure proper equipment operation and support overall facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.

• Preform PMs, work on pumps, conveyors, agitators, valves, heat exchangers, grain lifts, hammer mills, bag house filters, pipes, gears, belts, insulation, heat traces

• Understand and work on Air Compressors and Delivery, Fermenter mechanicals, seals, spargers, agitators, CIP skids, sanitary standards, and pumps

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems.

• Repair machines, equipment, or structural components.

• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical/electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.

• Order necessary parts, supplies, or equipment.

• Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematics.

• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of buildings or property.

• Record the type and cost of maintenance or repair work completed.

• Assist with other duties as required.

• Follow all safety programs, standard work practices, and procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent, trade school training preferred.

• 1 to 2 years of experience with maintenance or repair of industrial equipment (pumps, valves, compressors, conveying equipment).

• Welding experience on carbon/stainless steel preferred.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and steps, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs

• Must adapt to outside work environments (cold, heat, wind, rain, snow, slippery surfaces).

• May be exposed to high noise levels at times.

• Must be able and willing to work safely, including wearing and using task-specific appropriate personal protective equipment.
