Card Operations Specialist

Your role as a Card Operations Specialist
As a Full-Time Card Operations Specialist at Community Trust Credit Union, you'll manage and oversee all aspects of our debit and credit card portfolios, ensuring seamless card issuance and balancing that keeps our operations smooth. Your keen eye for detail will shine as you review reports, process fraud cases, and actively seek growth opportunities within our plastics offerings. Staying current with rules and regulations is vital, and you'll lead innovative plastic card projects that enhance our service delivery. With backup functions in ACH, wires, and share drafts, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining security by monitoring fraud trends and reporting suspicious activity to our dedicated fraud team. Dive into the thrill of completing fraud-related processes, managing daily provisional credits, and conducting month-end processing, all while making impactful recommendations that drive our organization forward!
What you need to be successful
To thrive as a Full-Time Card Operations Specialist at Community Trust Credit Union, you'll need a strong foundation of skills and experience. With two years of similar or related experience under your belt, your proficiency will be essential in managing our debit and credit card portfolios. A High School Diploma or GED is required, but your ability to communicate effectively will set you apart. You should excel in building relationships and facilitating first-level conflict resolution, demonstrating diplomacy and tact as you engage with colleagues and members alike. Handling discussions that require confidentiality and discretion will be second nature to you, ensuring our operations remain secure and trustworthy.
Your problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset are crucial as you navigate the challenges of overseeing card operations and driving growth in our plastics portfolio!
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Two years of similar or related experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution building relationships and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Compensation & Benefits:

Matching Contributions after 1000 hours of service, 21 years of age and six months of employment. You may begin your contribution on the first pay period of the calendar quarter after one full month of employment. Entry is quarterly.
Safe Harbor contributions. CTCU provides every eligible employee a contribution of 3% of compensation. In order to participate in the employer contributions under Safe Harbor, you must be 21 years of age, have 12 months of service and work at least 1,000 hours during that 12 months. Safe Harbor funds are 100% vested and employees who have met eligibility requirements are eligible to receive the Safe Harbor contribution by completing one hour of service. Safe Harbor entry is semi-annually.
