Title: Technical Talent Sourcer / Recruiter
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days/week in-office, Downtown)

Paul Murphy Associates is a growing boutique search firm specializing in capital markets, trading technology, and financial infrastructure. We are seeking a Technical Talent Sourcer / Recruiter to support and scale high-impact hiring initiatives across our global client base.
This is an opportunity to join a relationship-driven team with deep industry connectivity, working on retained, exclusive, and contingent searches for leading exchanges, trading firms, and fintech vendors.
This role blends sourcing and full-cycle recruiting, with a strong emphasis on identifying niche technical talent, building pipelines, and conducting detailed market mapping.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical sourcing and market mapping across niche talent pools
- Candidate identification, engagement, and pipeline development
- Candidate management and interview coordination
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients
- Supporting recruiting processes, reporting, and operational workflows
Required Qualifications
- 1–4+ years of experience in technical recruiting and/or talent sourcing
- Experience supporting or recruiting for international roles preferred
- Demonstrated awareness of AI and automation opportunities in recruiting workflows
- Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced sourcing methodologies
- Experience recruiting within capital markets, trading technology, or financial infrastructure environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and managing candidate pipelines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
