We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support the physician (i.e in house testing, vaccinations, EKG's, ear lavages and stitch removals)
- Communicate with patients their test results or any messages from the physician
- Escort patients to exam rooms and gather medical history and vitals
- Perform sanitization of patient areas after each patient and all work areas
- Keep rooms stocked and provide a list of supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with EHR systems (EClinical Works preferred)
- CPR and first aid certified as well as current CMA is preferred
- (Wages can be negotiable)
