Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Salary Range: $28-29/hour

Role Overview: Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Our client located in Schaumburg, IL is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team on a Contract basis. They are seeking someone that has 3-5 years of AR experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
2. Create invoices according to company practices; submit invoices to customers.
3. Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
4. Manages customer sales tax rates and maintains sales tax exemptions.
5. Perform customer credit analysis and assignment of credit terms.
6. Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.
7. Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
8. Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are reconciled.
9. Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
10. Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
11. Uses Epicor database platform.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience working in Accounts Receivables.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and work ethics
