Job Description

• Perform preparation duties such as baking breakfast and dessert items, making sandwiches, creating trays, completing prep lists and beverage orders, brewing coffee, and gathering supplies in an effective and timely manner
• Coordinate and organize daily catering orders to ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered on time
• Set up and break down catering orders and events; room design, linen and guest requests
• Make and confirm necessary changes to customer orders upon receipt and ensure culinary teams have the most up to date information
• Effectively communicate with guest and peers, handle all customer concerns in professional manner and escalate to management if needed
• Comply with State and AbbVie safety and hygiene practices and procedures. Ensure that all safety and sanitation guidelines per Health Department are followed.
• Deliver food and equipment to various locations.
• Load and unload catering vehicles with food, supplies, and equipment for events in all weather conditions.
• Overtime required, some weekend work, flexible work schedule at times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid drivers license; good driving record.
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift fifty (50) pounds or more.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions, written recipes, and open to receive guidance and training from other subject matter experts.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
