Job Summary: Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet is currently seeking a talented Body Shop Estimator to join our team in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to adapt to new technology and possess a solid foundation in delivering exceptional customer service. This role entails creating estimates, ensuring timely repair schedules, and developing comprehensive repair plans for vehicles

Responsibilities

• Develop repair plans for each vehicle in accordance with company and insurance partner guidelines.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates, ensuring alignment with established procedures.
• Maintain and manage an efficient repair schedule, ensuring timeliness before, during, and after repairs.
• Communicate any supplements or adjustments to customers and insurance companies promptly (on the same business day as written).
• Ensure customers’ vehicles are kept clean and tidy, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management on new industry procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Excellent customer service skills

• Basic computer proficiency

• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Teammate with collaborative mindset

• Math, reading, and software skills

• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay: $65,000-100,000
