Precision Metrology and NDT Inspector

As a Precision Metrology and NDT Inspector, you begin by reviewing incoming component shipments and supplier certifications, confirming that every lot aligns with the safety, quality, and quantity expectations set by Timken Aurora Bearing Company. Later in the day, you pivot to final assembly inspection, document your findings, perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) in the Magnaflux booth, and complete microscopic evaluations—including mounting, sectioning, and polishing with photomicroscope measurements. Throughout, you keep your area clean, follow safety protocols, and promptly flag anomalies to the Lead Person or Supervisor.
