HVAC Controls Project Manager
Position OverviewThe HVAC Controls Project Manager will oversee and coordinate HVAC control system projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves managing client relationships, supervising installation and commissioning processes, and ensuring effective troubleshooting and energy management practices are implemented. Key Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC control systems projects from initial design through to completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review technical documentation related to project specifications and progress reports.
- Implement energy management strategies to optimize system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ Years of experience in project management within the HVAC industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC controls systems, building automation systems, and mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills.
- Experience with budgeting and scheduling for HVAC projects.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
