Position Overview
International Financial is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Senior Manager to join our Accounting Team. This leadership role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our accounting operations and financial reporting. The Accounting Senior Manager will lead efforts in evaluating complex financial transactions, reviewing journal entries, and overseeing account reconciliations.

Navistar Financial Company (NFC) is the captive finance company for International Motors, LLC* and the provider of InternationalTM Financial services.
Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve complex or non-routine accounting transactions, including leasing, financing, and expected credit losses

Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to support a timely and accurate close process

Collaborate with operational teams to understand business strategy and ensure appropriate accounting treatment for significant transactions

Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounting processes and reduce close cycle timing

Provide financial and accounting insights to support business decisions and planning

Conduct financial analysis on monthly and quarterly performance
-
Coordinate audit deliverables with both internal and external auditors

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Lead or participate in special projects as needed
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

At least 6 years of accounting experience

At least 3 years of leadership experience

Bachelor's degree and CPA

Master's degree in accounting

Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
CPA certification strongly preferred
Experience in financial services industry
Familiarity with IFRS standards is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
Effective at managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a self-starter mindset
Prior people management experience
