Your Role:
As a Substitute Esthetics Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students receive a high-quality educational experience when their regular instructor is unavailable. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons on various esthetic techniques, including skincare and makeup application, while maintaining a structured and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular instructor while adapting teaching methods as necessary.
• Facilitate hands-on practice sessions and practical demonstrations in a variety of esthetics techniques.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student performance to ensure consistent learning outcomes.
• Maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with faculty to uphold academic standards and support student achievement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Educator license in the State of Illinois
• Demonstrated experience in the esthetics field is preferred.
• Previous teaching or substituting experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and student development.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings if necessary.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $23.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
