General Manager - Dietary (Evanston)
Responsibilities
Plans, coordinates, and directs the daily operations of food service, including scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and production to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsible for developing and enforcing policies and procedures related to food preparation, distribution, service, purchasing, sanitation, safety, performance improvement, and staff education and development.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) required and must be current.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in healthcare food service management.
- Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization, maintained current.
- Retail and catering experience focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation is desirable.

Saint Francis Hospital provides a competitive salary and benefits package, including paid time off, a 401K plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and other voluntary benefits. The estimated annual total compensation ranges from $71,614 to $103,708, based on skills, experience, education, credentials, and licensure. The final offer will be determined at hiring.
