Chicagoland United Soccer Club: Staff Coach

Chicagoland United Soccer Club is seeking an experienced soccer coach to increase its coaching staff for the upcoming season. The club has four chapters located in Orland Park, Frankfort, Bourbonnais, and Merrillville near the southern suburbs of Chicago. The club is looking for candidates with previous coaching experience who demonstrate exceptional game knowledge, outstanding interpersonal communication skills, and willingness to coach players between ages U7 - U19 boys and girl. As a staff member of the Chicagoland United Soccer Club, you will be expected to collaborate with peers during training and weekly meetings, engage with players and parents and implement the Chicagoland United Soccer Club methodology during training and games. The teams will have up to 3 sessions per week and games on the weekend competing in IYSA associated leagues and tournaments.

Coaches will be paid by the team depending on coaching background and experience. All coaches will complete a background check to comply with league regulations. While also meeting all other governance requirements. This position will report to the Director of Coaching and includes weeknight and weekend hours. General Skills and Traits Desired:

• Minimum of a Grassroots License (USSF D license preferred).

• Experience at the club, high school, or college level.

• Proven ability to recruit, and retain players.

• Ability to think and plan strategically and practically to convert the Club’s visions into reality.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
