About the Opportunity

Our company is growing! We're looking for an experienced and energetic BSEE Electrical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced exciting environment. In this position, you will collaborate with other engineers, customers, internal product and manufacturing teams, and Underwriter's Labs. Responsibilities

• REQ: Analog, digital and microprocessor based embedded circuit design experience and ambitions. Including mixed-mode electronic circuits, microprocessor-based temperature controls, motor speed controls, switch mode power supplies, and various user interfaces.
• REQ: Schematic capture tools experience.
• High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced exciting environment juggling multiple concurrent projects.
• Design and Improve designs that solve our customer’s needs, including designing for UL, IEC and EMI, minimizing unique part counts, designing for manufacturability and designing for good thermal performance.
• Product documentation, including creating product specifications, BOMs, ECNs, prints, wiring diagrams, etc.
• Design Verification testing of controls, including noise testing (ESD, conducted emissions, ring wave, etc.) and thermal chamber testing under load.
• Work closely with customers (primarily engineers) to develop product specifications and requirements.

• Salaried position Range of $85K to 130K depending on experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ideally 5 or more years’ experience developing embedded electronic controls but will consider less for the right candidate.
• Experience with schematics capture tools, preferably Mentor Graphics.
• BSEE Degree is required.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card. Elan will not host a J1 work Visa.
