Audio/Visual Content Lead
We're hiring an Audio/Video Content Lead to join our team at Castle Automotive Group/Zero Friction Marketing. What You'll Do: As an Audio/Video Content Lead, you will live in the future of media. You'll craft sound and vision into compelling narratives - from dealership events to vehicle features to team spotlights. You’ll develop our audiovisual brand voice, lead content production, and ensure each clip sings (literally or figuratively). Audio/Video Content Lead Responsibilities:
- Guide creative development: conceptualize and pitch video/audio content that fits Castle’s brand and marketing strategy.
- Produce high-quality, engaging short-form content—TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, dealership walk-throughs, team features, and event recaps.
- Manage the content lifecycle: from ideation to editing to publishing across platforms.
- Collaborate with the in-house Zero Friction Marketing team to align messaging with SEO, social media, and broader marketing goals.
- A proven track record of turning raw footage into scrollstopping stories.
- Robust skills in video editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut), audio mixing (Audition, Pro Tools), and content packaging for social media.
- Creative quirkiness—you're part videographer, part storyteller, part cultural curator.
- Organizational savvy—you can wrangle content schedules and post calendars.
- Bonus: automotive or retail experience, but it's not mandatory—great content transcends industries.
- A collaborative, innovative workplace where your projects matter—and your voice is heard.
- Competitive compensation with benefits.
- Growth pathways in a company that values performance-driven development.
- The joy of making car content compelling and interesting.
- Proven proficiency with professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Audio editing (Adobe Audition, Logic, or Pro Tools).
- Understanding of different formats (vertical, widescreen, square) and platform nuances (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn).
- A strong portfolio that shows you can turn raw footage into compelling narratives.
- Eye for cinematic framing, pacing, and storytelling—your edits carry rhythm and emotion, not just transitions.
- Ability to ideate fresh content formats that make car culture, team culture, and retail automotive entertaining.
- Comfortable collaborating with marketing leads and turning brand objectives into creative deliverables.
- Knack for understanding audience behavior—what drives scroll-stopping engagement and what gets ignored.
- Ability to balance speed and quality: you can deliver quick-turn social edits without sacrificing polish.
- Self-starter who can manage a production calendar without constant hand-holding.
- Clear communicator who can direct talent.
- Detail-oriented.
- Experience with live event capture (multi-camera setups, livestreams).
- Motion graphics / animation skills to enhance storytelling.
- Familiarity with SEO and social media analytics to measure content impact.
- 401(K) and employer match
- Major medical, dental (50% employee paid premiums)
- Vision
- Voluntary Benefits (Accident, Critical Illness, Disability, and more)
- Life Insurance
- Paid Time Off
- Employee vehicle purchase discounts
- Career advancement opportunities
