We are urgently seeking a sharp, highly analytical Electronics Technician who thrives on true problem-solving. This isn't a role for someone who simply swaps out generic circuit boards—we want a technician who understands circuitry fundamentally and can perform discrete component troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities

• Discrete Component Diagnostics: Isolate, diagnose, and troubleshoot system failures down to the discrete component level (including individual resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits).

• Schematic Interpretation: Read, trace, and thoroughly analyze complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and circuit layouts to identify system bottlenecks or faults.

• Hands-On Component Repair: Safely and skillfully desolder faulty discrete components and solder replacements onto precision printed circuit boards (PCBs) without damaging surrounding traces.

• EDM System Calibration: Maintain, repair, and optimize electrical assemblies, pulse power supplies, and CNC controller elements specific to advanced EDM machinery.

• Equipment Utilization: Masterfully operate advanced diagnostic tools including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and component testers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in electronics repair with a deep, demonstrable mastery of discrete component troubleshooting.

• Bench Skills: High proficiency in precision bench soldering, surface-mount technology (SMT), and through-hole component replacement.

• Problem Solver: Exceptional analytical skills—you look at a failing circuit board as a puzzle to solve, not a part to discard.

• Background: A military electronics background (Army 94-series, Navy ET/AT, Air Force Avionics, etc.), an equivalent civilian technical degree, or pure, hard-earned troubleshooting talent gets you the job.

• Drive for Success: A proactive work ethic. We are looking for individuals who want to master this role and quickly move up into senior technical or supervisory positions.
