Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a dynamic clinical team dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients in critical need. In this fast-paced environment, you'll use your clinical expertise, problem-solving ability, and critical thinking skills to stabilize, treat, and advocate for patients in emergency medical situations.

This is a full-time, direct-hire position offering a robust benefits package and a sign-on bonus. Day and night shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:
Rapidly assess patients and determine care needs based on severity
Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care under pressure
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment
Create and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care
Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary rounds
Accurately document care and patient responses
Support quality improvement by following regulatory guidelines and participating in audits and ongoing education
Use supplies and resources in a cost-effective and efficient manner

Requirements:
Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
BSN or enrollment in a BSN program (Preferred)
Active RN License in the state of Illinois (Required)
BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
1-3 years of recent Emergency Room experience (Required)
SANE Certification and availability for on-call duties (Required)
Stability: At least 1 year of continuous employment in a single hospital position

Preferred Qualifications:
PALS certification
Experience with high-acuity emergency care
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
