Landscape Maintenance Team Member
At C+I, Landscape Maintenance Crew Members are vital to our landscape maintenance care. You'll carry out tasks assigned by your Foreman, including but not limited to mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, planting, cleanup, power washing, etc while upholding our core values: Safety, Client Satisfaction, Crew Growth, Excellent Relationships, Sustainable Practices, Community. Key traits include attention to detail, adaptability, punctuality, and a collaborative spirit. You'll properly handle tools and equipment, embrace ongoing skill development. A commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement is essential.
Responsibilities
- Execute landscape maintenance tasks including turf care (mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, fertilization) and bed maintenance (weeding, pruning, mulching, planting, cleanup, bush trimming etc.)
- Follow directions from Foreman or Supervisor, asking clarifying questions as needed to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently
- Properly handle, clean, store, and perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment, reporting damages or malfunctions promptly
- Adhere to all safety protocols including PPE requirements, dress code, and safe work practices across job sites, yards, and during transportation
- Load, unload, and transport materials, plants, and equipment to and from job sites as directed
- Operate landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the duration of each project
- Communicate openly with team members, contribute improvement suggestions, and support a respectful and collaborative crew culture
- Adapt to changing project requirements, weather conditions, and shifting priorities as directed
