Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of the production line.

• Measure production to ensure compliance with standards.

• Engage in frequent walking and interaction with the production environment.

• Collaborate with engineering to confirm product issues and assign cases.

• Send professional emails across teams and input measurement data into Excel.

• Document any findings that do not meet quality standards and take timely action.

• Assist in creating or updating documentation.

• Identify and lead efforts to improve manufacturing processes.

• Collaborate with engineering to test and inspect products.

• Evaluate and process Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of related quality or manufacturing experience.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Proficient in using standard measurement equipment and tools, including micrometers, gauges, and calipers.

• Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
