PM Guard Check / Dispatcher

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented PM Freight Guard to join our logistics team during the evening shift in Morris IL. In this dual-purpose role, you will be responsible for the physical security of our facility and the meticulous verification of all incoming and outgoing freight. Shift: Wednesday – 1030pm – 430am Thursday, Friday, Saturday, - 430pm – 430am

salary: $23.5 - $23.75 per hour
shift: Third
work hours: 4:30 PM - 4:30 AM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

As a welcome center check guard you need too manage site security by controlling access, often operating from a guard shack to check in/out trucks and personnel. Responsibilities Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log of arrivals and departures of commercial and private vehicles. Check all inbound and outbound seals on vehicles. Communicate effectively with management on any welcome center issues. Interact with drivers and visitors in a polite professional manner. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight.
